Senior Capstone
My senior capstone project, focused on the portrayal of mental health within film. After analyzing certain films, and how they portrayed certain aspect of mental health and disorders, I set out to create my own. Enter "Ease My Mind", a script I wrote to specifically highlight and showcase the portrayal of mental health and disorders within film.
Ease My Mind
Ease My Mind follows young 17 year old Jackson Mitchell through the traumatic points in his final years of high school. After his mother is sent to the hospital, and his brother is in a coma, he finds himself alone and struggling to get help. Finding help, in very unlikely places, Jackson navigates a diagnosis of schizophrenia, which concerns everyone around him.
